When parts of the daily feed amount must be fed during milking, the option Feeding in milk parlor can be used.
Make sure the following equipment is in place when feeding in the milk parlor:
Identification in the milk parlor
Reader motor control (V-pack)
Behavior Component "In parlor feeding"
Activate feeding in the milk parlor in Nedap Velos:
Go to Settings > Feeding > Feed settings.
Check the box Feeding in milk parlor.
Click Submit.
A specific feed amount can be defined that must be fed during milking. The defined feed amount is a total amount, and will be divided into all milk sessions per day. Define the feed amount in Nedap Velos.
Go to Settings > Feeding > Feed plans.
Click on the feed plan for which you want to define the feed amount. The tab Feed amounts automatically opens.
Click on the drop down menu behind the field Enabled and select % or kg to define the feed amount.
In the field Of which in parlour, fill in how much of the total daily feed amount ( % or kg) must be fed in the milk parlor. When using multiple feed types, define the feed amount per feed type.
Click Ok.
